In the course “Alternative Urbanism” of the Interdisciplinary Centre for Urban Culture and Public Space and the Research Department for Finance and Infrastructure Policy (IFIP) at TU Wien, students this semester looked at the connection between cultural policy and urban re-restructuring along Viennas’ southern axis. They investigated queer spaces, inter-cultural coexistence, and the concept of ” Ankerzentren” (anchor centres).
In the final presentation “Let’s talk about: Alternative Urbanism” students will present their exciting results: 21.6., 9:45 to 14:00 , at WERK X (Oswaldgasse 35a, 1120 Vienna).
