Angelika Gabauer holds a master degree in political science from the University of Vienna and studied spatial planning at the Vienna University of Technology. Since October 2018 she supports the Interdisciplinary Centre for Urban Culture and Public Space as University Assistant. Her interests include research on democracy, social movements, (urban) space, planning theory and feminist approaches to planning and the distribution of (public) space. Since 2019 she is writing her dissertation on the topic: Spaces of Age(ing): Towards an Understanding of Being and Growing Old in an Urban Environment
