Lebenslauf Marina Kapsali

I am currently a PhD candidate at the School of Architecture, Department of Urban and Regional Planning and Development of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (Greece). I hold an MSc in Global Urban Development and Planning from the University of Manchester (UK) and an MA in Architecture from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (Greece). I have professional qualifications as an architect and have participated in a number of contests of urban planning and urban design.


My research interests revolve around urban democracy, public space, participatory urbanism, urban enclosures/urban commons, informality and housing.
